About Kates Ed Solutions

Kates Education Solutions helps individuals and teams navigate today’s increasingly complex and challenging education system.

After over 20 years in education and hundreds of successful IEP meetings, I realized that my unique range of experience and passion for empowering parent and student access and success could help parents, schools and districts before frustration set in. We all want the best for our children, and sometimes home instinct and insight gets lost in the challenges of school reality.

I draw upon my depth of experience as a credentialed Administrator, School Psychologist, Teacher, and equally important, parent of gifted/twice exceptional children, to help navigate the increasingly challenging world of education.  Translating “Ed speak,” finding common ground and strategies, or understanding your learner can be overwhelming.  I’m here to help you with compassion, clarity, and support at every step, whatever you and your family may need.
